APO Reef is one of the best and famous diving site in the Philippines and most popular coral reef in the world. APO reef is the second largest coral reef area in the world.
Agriculture Sec. Arthur Yap earmarked P25 million funds to help fish cage operators fast-track the rehabilitation of their fish cages in the typhoon-ravaged provinces of Pangasinan and La Union . The BFAR had already released PlOM for the rehab and P3M for the purchase of fingerlings.
The Cruise is partly conducted for centenary commemoration of the intensive deep sea explorations conducted by the steamer USS Albatross from 28 November 1907 to 21 January 1910 in the country as ordered by the US Bureau of Fisheries.
